Bury St Edmunds lies equidistant between Cambridge (40 Minutes) and the Suffolk coast. Lavenham, Clare, Cavendish and Long Melford are all approximately 25 minutes drive.
Newmarket is just 20 minutes.

Live Jazz from 7.15pm every Sunday evening. Enjoy a drink or supper and be entertained in a relaxed and informal ‘jazz club’ atmosphere.The Fox live jazz evenings feature musicians who each week play a variety of styles from jazz standards, smooth cocktail, soul and pop influenced to funky modern improvisation, with a little blues too.

We are pleased to hear from musicians interested in playing at The Fox, we are particularly keen to support and showcase new young talent and local musicians. A favourite venue for any celebration party, available at lunchtime or in the evening any day of the week. Ant part of our pub restaurant is available for bookings - be sure to book early, particularly for Christmas Parties.

We are delighted to be involved each year with annual Bury Festival which is held in the town throughout May. The Fox is ideally located for pre-concert dinner and a perfect place to stay particularly as we are opposite The Abbey Gardens, the venue for some great gigs.
